2. Venerable 11th Ulan Living Buddha (1920–2004)
Recognized as a reincarnated soul boy by the 13th Dalai Lama at the age of two
Former Khenpo of Ta'er Monastery and President of the Inner Mongolia Buddhist Association
Taught the Lamrim Path to Enlightenment, the Guhyasamaja Tantra, and the Kalachakra Initiation
Former Vice President of the Buddhist Association of China and Member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference
Passed away in Hohhot in 2004
3. The Venerable Third Great Living Buddha Choshi
One of the main Living Buddhas of the Gelugpa lineage at Ta'er Monastery
The first incarnation served as the Dharma Master of Ta'er Monastery and was responsible for the construction of the Ninth Panchen Lama's stupa.
Carrying the important mission of Ta'er Monastery to promote both exoteric and esoteric Buddhism and integrate civilizations.
